FREE TAG DETAILS 

Exclusively for members of the KMM & Co. BST, get a free tag with the purchase of a classic tote, travel tote, or market tote! The leather tag has always been a KMM & Co. signature, an item that was personalized with a name or initials with every single tote. But in the first half of 2022, more than 80% of tags went unembossed, suggesting most people don't want or need a tag with each tote. To cut waste and avoid shipping tags to customers who don't want them, a tag is no longer included by default.

If you'd still like a tag when you purchase a bag that traditionally included one, we'd be more than happy to make one for you, for free! Please read — and follow — the rules below to redeem your free tag. You can bookmark this page so that you have it handy for future tote purchases. Provided everyone follows the rules, it's not going anywhere.

Please note: Your order MUST include this listing if you would like to receive a free tag. We will not be able to honor requests to add a free tag after an order has been submitted – please make sure to add this item to your cart if you would like a tag. (Thank you so much for understanding!)

 HOW IT WORKS

1. You can redeem a free tag with the purchase of any classic tote, travel tote, or market tote. This listing must be in your cart when you purchase the bag, and the offer is not valid with the purchase of any bag other than a classic tote, travel tote, or market tote.  (Scratch-and-dent bags, branded bags, and readymade bags are not eligible for a free tag.) The tag will match the handles on your tote, whether the standard color or a custom one you've chosen instead.

2. We can emboss a maximum of 27 characters on each tag. Check out the list of the we have available for embossing if you'd like to add some extra personality!

3. The entire reason to change the is to eliminate waste and to stop shipping tags that will not be used. If you specifically want a blank tag, just write something along the lines of, "Please leave the tag blank" so we know you've thought about it. We think that the world is a better place when we're all thoughtful about the things we buy. 

4. Because this is a free listing, we're relying on each of you to abide by the honor system: one tag for each tote. If anyone is found abusing the system, trying to get a large number of free tags, or trying to get free tags with ineligible bags, the offer goes away for everyone. We don't like drama.
